The Day Life Changed

On March 29 2010 Evan was driving to work when his tire blew which pulled him to the right and caused his Explorer to roll. He was badly injured. He broke C-5 C-6 in his neck and is now parlayed from the neck down. If the UPS drive had not been behind Evan he would of not been found until morning because he rolled off the road far enough no one would of seen his Explorer. Our life for the Evan Sleight family has been changed forever and we are now learning how to take care of Evan. This blog is to show our ups and downs on our new journey.

And the journey also contiues with our family now that it has been two years almost three. We still have our ups and downs just like all families do.

The Three M's Project Home for Evan

Well the three M's stand for Money, Manpower, and Materials. If you want to help us you can donate to Mountain West Bank to the Evan Sleight Charitable Home Fund There have been so many wonderful people help out with this project and we are nearing the end to where we can soon move into the home around Thanksgiving. It is so wonderful to see the love and support the Brigham community have for a young family in need. We are all so humbled and so grateful to all that have helped, donated one of the M's or just been there to help where they can THANK YOU to ALL.
Some of the pictures will post more.

It's been a wonderful year sorry for not posting for so long

Well it has been over a year since I updated the blog. I am so sorry for it being so very long. ALOT has happened we have two very gracious men Have rally many people to help with the building of Our home that will help Evan move more freely around the house. Logan is gone as of Aug 20th 2014 to serve the lord in a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints he is in the MTC in Provo Utah until Sept. 29th 2014 in which he will travel to Veracruz Mexico for two years. He is loving every minute of it so far and is excited to serve the lord and spread the gospel. Well now on to the big event the house will be done or been told that November around Thanksgiving. It is going to be so nice to be in a home of our own and that Evan will be able to move freely around the home. Pictures of the progress are to come hope that all is well with everyone and grateful for all the love and support we have had and the love of the Brigham community.
