Well Evan is starting to get up and movin. He is doing well. Today he got to go outside in the sun which is nice. He is learning how to use the voice activated software which he think is very cool. They are keeping him busy with things to learn and do which makes most of the day go by. He is only allowed a hour of up in his wheelchair twice a day right now with the sore on his back. They are focusing on getting that healed and then he will be able to get up for the whole day which will be great.

Well here is the Pic I promised Lois. He is up in his chair. Things are going well and he is starting to be able to get up twice a day after the bed sore is gone he will be up a day. He is able to leave his room for awhile which is nice change for him. He is also getting the cuff on his trake (its the balloon holding air away from his vocal cores) down to where he is able to talk for short times. He is working on getting a talking trake and this is the step toward that. Thongs are going well. Thank you agin for all you are doing for us. Love Evan and Robyn

Well today has been a busy day. He had his swallow test done and he passed. He now can eat real food again and the tube feedings will stop. He also got up in his new wheelchair and was fitted to make sure things are good. Evan is now allowed to sit up for a hour at a time. Things are moving along. Baby Steps is how we're going right now.

Well today has been a busy day. He had Tests done to make sure things are going the right direction which is forward. He is very happy. This place is amazing and I am so glad we picked it. Evan send he regards and I am also grateful for our freinds and family.

Craig Hospital

Well we are finally at the rehab and things are going well. Evan has a very good doctor and a team of people to help with his recovery. We are both excited and nervous of all the hard work ahead.
